How to find us

The postcode of the church is HP8  4QF

The village of Chalfont St Giles lies in a valley between

the A413 and the A40. St Giles church is just behind the line

of shops in the village, which takes its name from

our patron saint Giles. Giles is a saint often associated with

travellers, hence the link with blacksmiths and also the poor,

via his association with cripples in times past.

East on A40 from M40 Junction

There is a large car park behind our Co-op at HP8 4QA. The first hour is free, but you will still need a ticket from the machine. It's free on Sundays.  Parking on the High Street is free, but for one hour only.
Find the entrance to our church yard just uphill from the estate agent, and through the Plumb Gate, or just downhill from the Post Office, by the bus stop, which takes you through the Lych Gate.

We welcome and encourage all to come inside the building for some peace, to be quiet or to pray.  We have a prayer station in the north aisle where you may leave your prayer requests.  We hope you will leave our church feeling spiritually refreshed.

For physical refreshment try  The Deli or The Merlin's Cave, around the green.

In the summer months (April to September)  we aim to open the church daily, 11am-1pm and 2-4pm.  There will be someone on hand to welcome and inform visitors.
